Reserved Booths

A Reserved Booth is an optional feature which allows a frequent market vendor to maintain a specific booth location, at a specific market, for as long as they choose. Reserved Booth holders are also provided early setup privileges, as their booth location is predetermined.

In July, we will begin the process of accepting applications for Reserved Booths and awarding available locations to vendors based on their Vendor Priority Point level. *If two vendors apply for the same space, the vendor with a higher point standing will be awarded the space.

There is also an option for existing Reserved Booth holders to relocate to another location in the venue;  unlike new applicants, existing RBs will be guaranteed to maintain a permanent booth location — their existing space will remain theirs by default.

Eligibility, Fees and Payment

Any Full Vendor with at least 15 priority points may apply for a Reserved Booth.  There is a $30 application fee for both new assignments & transfers.

The fee for maintaining a Reserved Booth varies for each market, and is not currently offered at all locations. Our current market/rate card is:

Chattanooga Market Sundays: $15/month ACH ($180/year)
Chattanooga River Market: $12/month ACH ($144/year)
Collegedale Market: not offered
Cambridge Square Market: not offered

Reserved Booth holders are required to pay their fees via a monthly auto draft (ACH), with 1/12th of the season fee collected on the first of every month (January through December).  A termination of this monthly collection will result in the Reserved Booth being forfeited, and reassigned to another vendor.

Reserved Booth Assignment Process

A specific process is used to determine who is allocated a reserved booth:

  • applicants should select multiple booth locations; you may not get your top choice
  • all booths will be assigned to vendors in order of their Vendor Priority Point standing; the top vendor will receive their first choice, and so forth until all available reserved booth locations are awarded.
  • vendors will be notified of their new booth location mid-July, and “move in” to their new reserved booth location on the first market day in August.
  • once you are awarded a reserved booth location, it is yours until you release it, cease being a Chattanooga Market vendor or become delinquent with your fees.

This is a once-a-year event, and completely dependent upon the availability of reserved booth locations.

Set Up Procedures

Chattanooga Market

Reserved booth holders are not required to be in attendance every single market, however we will need to know prior to the morning roll call wether or not you are there.

  • Farm & Food vendors will need to come mark their space off at the front desk prior to the 8:30 Farm & Food roll call.
  • Arts & Crafts vendors will need to come mark their space off at the front desk prior to the 9:15 Arts & Crafts roll call.
  • If you are running behind you can call (423) 648-2496 and ask one of the market staff members to mark your space off on the map. Be sure to physically speak with someone and do not leave a voicemail as we will not be answering voicemails during market setup!
  • If you fail to mark your space off on the map and another vendor picks that space during roll-call and is unable to setup you may be required to forfeit your space for the day or pay the other vendor’s setup fee, at market discretion.
